Our Mission

At Pulse by SHI, our mission is simple:
Give every organization a clear, living pulse so leaders can see stress early, act with confidence, and build lasting resilience.

Our Story

We created Pulse by SHI after seeing the same challenge across industries: organizations drowning in data but missing the clarity to act. Leaders had the numbers, but not the signal.

The System Health Index (SHI) was built to change that. It transforms scattered metrics into a single health pulse, showing when systems are under strain, where to focus, and how resilience is building over time.

Meet the Founder

I’m Bradley Perry, I started SHI because I saw something that most people miss: That every system, whether biological or organizational, breathes the same thermodynamic law.

I began by noticing a repeating pattern: in ecosystems, in economics and even in our personal lives. When a forest declines, when a company collapses, when a person burns out - the underlying pattern was always the same: Inputs out of balance, structure under strain, flow breaking down.

That realization became an obsession, I wanted to measure not just for performance, but resilience. Not just data, but direction.

SHI became my universal framework for understanding how systems live, thrive and decay - one that merges science, ecology, business, and philosophy into a single coherent language.

I built it with one goal in mind: not to simply fix what’s broken, but to teach systems how to heal themselves.

“If I can help guide one broken system to sustainability, I can die a happy man.” - Bradley Perry
